Abortion and Politics
I’m not exactly crazy about Barrack Obama, nor did I vote for him in the election. He did make a valid point when stating we must find some common ground when dealing with the abortion debate when giving his speech at Notre dame. We as pro-lifers must never compromise our commitment to eradicate this practice, but we must do this in a way where we don’ t butt heads against those who think it is a practical choice.
The old way is not working. We must find common sense solutions from a Christian perspective. We must present our case in such a way that we change the hearts of those who can affect real change. It is up to us to find solutions and facts that will change the opinions of those who think this is about a choice.
It is not a choice, it is a child. We know this as fact. It’s time to spread the word to those who don’t.
The following is a excerpt from the president’s speech that was given earlier this year at Notre Dame.
